Yes he did.
Mike I sent Gene an e-mail asking what was new, he sent back a pitcher of a glide in one of his new colors, he calls this one Koi.
I had to have one.
As always Gene’s lures are top notch. The Bubba ran true with no tuning at all.
And the 7” glide, I can’t say enough about it. This bait cuts a 5 foot path through the water. One of the easiest to work glides I have ever seen.
Mike -- If you haven’t been in touch with Gene recently you may want to send him a e-mail. Gene is making a version of the A C Shiner and it is a sweeeet looking bait.

I’m heading for Clear Fork in the morning. With all this rain we have been having the fork should be a little off colored and the water temp should have dropped a few degrees. Maybe that will get the big girls going. I sure hope so, it’s been a long time since I have seen one of the big ones.
